COVID-19 and Nestling Kids Keepsakes

UPDATE 19 MAY:
As many brick and mortar businesses are preparing to reopen this week, we thought an update on our operations would be a good idea. Essentially, not much has changed day to day at Nestling Kids Keepsakes since two months ago. Our production time remains steady, but shipping times are longer and patience is required, both on our end and from our customers. We still have contactless fabric drop off and order pick up in Oliver (Penticton will be unavailable for the foreseeable future). Our supplies are becoming more difficult to obtain and more expensive, so though we are well-stocked for the time being, we will be evaluating our pricing structure in the near future.
We urge you to use a tracked service and schedule a contactless pickup from your postal service to send in your fabric. If you have any questions or concerns about your order or our practices, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Nestling Kids Keepsakes would like to reassure our customers that we are open and operating as usual during this time. As long as our postal services in Canada and the US remain in operation and we personally remain healthy, we have no plans to close. We are well-stocked and our production time has not been negatively effected, but postal services are experiencing some delays. We urge you to use a tracked service and schedule a contactless pickup from your postal service to send in your fabric. With all of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 virus worldwide, we at Nestling Kids Keepsakes would like to reassure our customers that we are doing everything we can to stop the spread.

My family’s lifestyle (a home based business and homeschooling family) means that we are uniquely suited to social distancing. In addition to our usual routines, we have cancelled all classes, playdates and other social interactions. My husband, a tattoo artist, is off work and holed up with us at home for the foreseeable future. We are supplementing our usual cleaning practices with a higher level of disinfection based on my husband’s work practices, so our home has never been cleaner!

My assistant, Sharon, is continuing to work remotely from her home, and is using her excellent cleaning skills daily and practicing social distancing as well.

For local orders, we will arrange a time for you to drop your fabric on our doorstep and we will deliver your completed order at your door at a predetermined time.

As long as our postal services remain in operation and we personally remain healthy and symptom-free, it is business as usual at Nestling Kids Keepsakes. If you have any questions or concerns about your order or our practices, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Worried about not being able to send in your fabric right away? Please purchase one of our gift cards, then make your keepsake purchase whenever you feel comfortable visiting the post office or scheduling a pick up from your local postal service.
